AMATEUR CYCLING
INTEREST IN CAMBRIDGE A CLUB FORMED (From Our Own Correspondent) CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday. Of late there has been a revival of interest in cycling in this district, and at a well-attended meeting held last night it was unanimously decided to form a cycling club, to be known as the Cambridge Amateur Cycling Club. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. Fred Lye, M.P.; president, Mr. W. Wilkinson; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. E. Harris and V. Rickit; secretary and treasurer, Mr. D. L. Hastie; committee, Messrs. V. G. Boulton. G. Wells, Hamer, senr., F. IT. Green, J. Wilkinson; club captain, Mr. V. Liddington; vice-captain, Mr. Woods; timekeepers, Messrs. G. Drew, H. Vause. F. IT. Green: liandicapper, Mr. A. E. Harris; starter, Mr. W. Webber. It was decided that the annual subscription fee be fixed as follows: Senior members, 7s (id; juniors, 2s 6d; honorary, 5s (to include admission to events).
