MISS MACFARLANE WINS SINGLES MALFROY TAKES MEN’S Press Association MASTERTOX, To-day. The Xoi'th Island and "Walrarapa tennis championships were won by Malfroy, Wellington, who beat A. L. France, Wellington, 6— l. 6—3. 4—6, 6—4, in the men’s singles. Miss Marjorie Macfarlane, Auckland, beat Miss M. Myers, Wanganui. 3—6, 6—3, 6 —2, in the women’s singles final.
