POWER BOARD NOTICES IHE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD. HE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1926. -ROPOSED LOAN OF £673,000 FOR THE GENERAL EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ELECTRIC SUPPLY UNDERTAKING IN THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC' - POWER! DISTRICT. The Auckland Electric-Power Board ereby gives notice in pursuance of Secion 10 of the abovetnentioned Act:— 1. That the purpose for which the loan is required is the General Extension and improvement of the Electric Supply Undertaking- in the Auckland Electric-power District. 2. That the Auckland' Electric-Power Board, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such purpose out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow the sum of £675,000. 3. That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be a •special rate of one-fifth of a penny in the pound on all rateable property in the Auckland Electric - power District. 4. That the Auckland Electric-Power Board pt'oposes to make such loan repayable in twenty-one (21) years, and proposes to make provision for ; the payment of a Sinking Fund of not less than Two Pounds Ten ■ ' Shillings (£2 10s) per centum per; annum. 5. That the Auckland Electric-Power Board proposes to pay out of such loan, such costs, charges and expenses, as the Auckland ElectricPower Board may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan, but not the Interest and Sinking Fund thereon for the first year.
