CHAMPION CYCLIST DIES
MR. M. RANDRUP (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON. Saturday. Mr. Maurice Kandrup, New Zealand champion cyclist in 1905. died following an operation in tlie 'Wailtato Hospital yesterday. _ . Born in T>enmark in ISSI, Mr. Kandnip arrived in the Dominion when a hoy. and worked on his father's dairy farm. He was chief representative tor fhe Ridd .Milking Machine Company for js years in Hamilton, and mvented a patent milking machine about three years ago. He was prom‘nertly connected with sport in tne 'own and tin Marist Football Club, ana was a member of the Hibernian Lodge and school and church committees.
