TREATY REVISION LIKELY
(Australian and N.Z. Press A.ssociatiotiJ OTTAWA, Saturday. Reports emanating from Conservative quarters hint that a revision of the Australian trade treaty is looming. These say that Australia has often asked for a revision, particularly regarding raisins. Trade statistics indicate that Canada is having a better bargain. The treaty is highly commended in Canadian circles, which are benefiting, and criticised by those adversely affected at times. The National Dairy Council’s complaints regarding New Zealand butter have died down.
