WOMAN’S HEEL CAUGHT IN POINTS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) BRISBANE, Sunday. A painful tragedy occurred at Toowoomba yesterday. Mrs. Edw-ard Perkins was crossing a railway line when the heel of one of her shoes was caught in the points. The crew’ of an oncoming train failed to notice the woman’s plight or to see her frantic signals and she w r as killed. Deceased's husband is the manager of a brewery in Brisbane.
