TORNADO’S DEVASTATION DAMAGE IN AMERICA lAuatrulian and N.Z. Press Association f; NEW YORK, Saturday. A tornado which originated in Indiana swept over the sou&erc. part of Illinois yesterday and tb«n turned north toward Wisconsin. To-day’s reports show that five States were involved in the storm. Eleven deaths have been reported, most of the victims being children. Many people have been injured. Telegraphic communication with the stricken areas is disorganised. Serious damage has been done to property, including the demolition of homes and schools. A sudden rise in the temperature after a period of cold weather caused torrential rain in Indiana.
