TAXI-CAR BURNED
DRIVER ESCAPES SAFELY (Special to THE SUN) TE PUKE. Saturday. a big touring car. owned by Mr. VV. T Dobson, of Te Puke, a taxi proprietor. was completely destroyed by fire on the No. 1 Road, Te Puke, at about 9 o’clock last evening. The car was being driven by Mr. George Budge, and when it caught fire he was obliged to leave hurriedly. He lost his coat and some letters. The car was insured with the Eagle, Star and British Dominion Insurance Company. ______________________
