Canon Percival James will preach at to-morrow morning’s service in the Cathedral, St. Mary’s, Parnell. In the evening the Right Rev. Bishop Anderson will preach. An organ recital will be given before the evening service. * * * The preacher at the morning service at St. Matthew’s, Wellesley Street, to-morrow morning, will be the Rev. G. R. Monteith. In the evening the Rev. Carew Thomas will preach and the anthem, “Consider and Hear Me.” by Pflueger, will be sung. * * * At the Edendale Presbyterian Church to-morrow the preacher at both services will be the Rev. G. W. Blair, of Waipu. The Rev. R. Warnock will conduct both services at tlie Somervell .Church. Air. Stephen Jeffries, the well-known Welsh evangelist, is holding meetings every evening at 7.30 in the East Street Hall, Karangahape Road. Divine healing meetings will also be held every afternoon from Monday to Thursday, at 3 p.m. "The Blue Pencil” will be the subject of the Rev. Jasper Calder’s sermon in a service held by the Auckland City Mission to-morrow evening in the Lewis Eady Hall. Sacred music will be played and solos given by Miss Reta McCullay and Mr. J. Cantlay. * * * A full screening of the film, “The King of Kings,” will be a feature of tlie Strand Theatre service held by the Methodist City Mission. The Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour will conduct the service. * * * The Spiritual Scientists’ Church will hold a meeting at 3 p.m. to-morrow in the Newton Chambers. A trance address on Faith and Divine Love will be given at 7 p.m. The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will hold services at 31 a.m. and 7 p.m. to-morrow, in the Church Hall, off Symonds Street. A service will also be held at 11 a.m. in the Scots Hall, Symonds Street. The subject of the addresses will be “Sacrament.” Tlie Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Alma Street, Newmarket, will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. to-morrow. Airs. Thomas Smith will speak on “The Summer Land.” Air. D. H. Stewart, a Baptist College student, will preach at tlie morning service in the Grange Road Baptist Church to-morrow. At 7 p.m. Mr. Vernon Drew, general secretary of the Y'.AI.C.A, will speak. Mr. J. W. Shackleford, vice-president of the Alethodist Conference, will speak at the morning service in St. John’s Methodist Church, Ponsonby. to-morrow. The Rev. Arthur Aiitchell will preach in the evening. The speaker at to-morrow’s Sunday afternoon men’s meeting in the Y.AI.C.A. will be Air. Alexander Mill. His subject will be "Running the Straight Race.”
At the meeting of the International Bible Students’ Union at 6.45 p.m. tomorrow Air. J. H. Archer will speak on "The Greatest Text in the Bible.” The meeting will be held in the Alasonic Hall, Edinburgh Street,
