A STAR AND HER RECORD
|\o you know this star? Once she acted in a picture with John Bunny. Her sister is an actress, too. In “A Tale of Two Cities” she rode with Maurice Costello in a tumbril. David Belasco produced three plays that became films with this lady as star. She has brown eyes, weighs only 1031 b and is not so tall as she appears on the screen. Thomas Meighan used to be her leading man, and she appeared in “The Battle Cry of Peace.” Some of the players who appeared in early films with this star are Rex Ingram, Antonio Moreno and Anita Stewart. Her husband is a film executive, and her mother’s name is Margaret. She can read French and order a meal. Charlie Chaplin appeared in her last picture, but you didn’t recognise him. Charlie was offered 7.50 dollars for his day’s work, and took it. She makes one film a year and her married sister acted in films for some time and is the mother of two sons. Their father is a comedian. Her name is Norma Talmadge.
