POPE, KING AND DUCE
SUGGESTED CONFERENCE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Thursday. The Rome correspondent of the “Daily Express” says a meeting between the Pope, King Victor Emanuel and the Prime Minister, Signor Mussolini, is quite probable. It would be greeted with national rejoicing cs signifying the end of the quarrel. Diplomatic relations between the Vatican and the Government are expected to be resumed shortly, says the correspondent.
