MEETING AT NEW LYNN HANDICAPS FOR SATURDAY The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club •will hold picnic sports on the Lynndale Club’s ground at New Lynn to-morrow afternoon, at 2/30 o’clock. The Manukau Amateur Cycle Club will also conduct three events for wheelmen, for which a special points eup will be awarded by the Auckland Club. TROUBLE IN RUGBY There is going to be trouble in Rugby football unless the authorities at Home ? ike a broader view and recognise the aspirations of the Dominions, says an English writer. They demand to play a part in the government, and they are ~iot going to be put off with another Imperial Conference.
