HOUSE DESTROYED
EARLY MORNING BLAZE (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, To-day. A five-roomed house in Morning side Road, Whangarei, was discovered to be on fire at three o’clock this morning. The brigade was promptly on the scene and. extinguished the blaze, but the house was practically destroyed. The house was owned by Mr. Lupton and occupied by Mr. Maurice Briggs, his wife and one child, who escaped but lost everything.
