EVERYBODY’S

“ARMAGEDDON” If it is true that no form of history | fascinates mankind as does tiie history , of wars, it is also true that war his- j tory is really understood and appreciated by very few. Historians even j when they have grasped the drama , of war, have not the means to present ; it to the common people. That diffl- j rultv can, and has been overcome by , the use of the film, whereby all the movement and heroism and horror of ! war can be accurately and dramatic- j ally depicted. i That is what has been achieved by the picture entitled * Armageddon. | which is now' being shown at the | Everybody’s Theatre. “Armaged- j don” is a pictorial explanation of the j campaign of General Allenby in Pal- < estine and Syria, and it does for that j theatre of the war what the picture ! "Mons” and -Zeebrugge” did for their ! respective theatres. Large parts of this picture are composed of official photographs taken at the time, supplemented by explana- j tions by models, w’ith various incidents , specially re-enacted. In order to ensure complete accu- ! racy the film was submitted to H.M. 5 Army Council for approval. The second feature on the pro- ; gramme is the latest picture by that f clever dog actor Rin-Tin-Tin. ‘'Captain Lash,” starring Victor j McLaglen has been put into production at the Fox Studios. The supporting : cast includes Claire Windsor, Earle j Foxe, Albert Conti and .Clyde Cook. ;
