RYDER CUP TEAM PICKED (Australian and N.Z „ Pres * Association) LOS ANGELES, Wednesday. Wood won the first prize at a golf tournament at Hollywood with a score of 138 over 36 holes. Kirkwood was 14th with 148. Hagen announces the personnel of the Ryder Cup team. All are of American birth. He said that next year he would advocate the inclusion of foreign-born players if they were naturalised in America. There was opposition in Britain to such golfers, and this had kept out many excellent players.
