TROUBLE FOR MR. BRUCE
MR. HUGHES PROPHESIES MELBOURNE, Wednesday. Mr. W. M. Hughes, in reviewing the political outlook in the Commonwealth, said the whole battlefield was strewn with ammunition waiting to be picked up. He foresaw considerable trouble for the Prime Minister, Mr. Bruce, when Parliament met again on February 6. The initiative, he said, was with the Labour Party, which was much stronger than in the old Parliament.
