Lyall. who have been playing in the howling tournament, in Wellington, returned to Auckland this morning by the Limited. Sir George Fowlds has been reelected chairman of the Council of the Massey Agricultural College at Palmerston North. Mr. P. Levi has been re-elected treasurer. Mr. W. Waters, who was at one time clerk to the Paeroa Borough Council, and who for the last eight years has been town clerk at Eltham, has * accepted a position with the British Film Corporation at Wellington. Mr. W. H. Dixon, who will take charge of the Christchurch Royal Choral Society, arrived in Wellington by the Corinthic to-day. He is accompanied by his wife and their two little girls.—P.A.
