GAVE LIFE FOR OTHERS

KAWHIA DROWNING FATALITY (From Our Ozcn Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. The inquest was held at Kawhia. yesterday into the circumstances of the death of the second victim of the Kawhia drowning fatality, Mr. Clarence Hunter, aged 19. Mr. F. W. Platts, coroner, presided. The evidence was largely on the lines of that given at the inquest on the body of Mr. T. B. Dillicar, of Hamilton. the other victim. A verdict of accidental death was returned, the coroner commenting on the bravery of the deceased, who both gave their lives that others might be saved.
