There were average yardJ”B's of cattle, and heavy entries of pigs. Cattle of all classes continue to sell at ruling prices. Pigs also are meeting with a steady sale. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency report:—At Westfield store sal<last Thursday we had a large entry o.‘ dairy cattle, which sold readily at late rates. Store cattle also sold at late quotations. We quote: Best dairy cows and heiters, £lO to £l4 10s: others, £7 to £:t 17s 6d; aged cows and inferior heifers. £4 10s to £6 15s; bulls, £4 10s to £l2 10s; boner and store cows, £4 5s to £6 15s; yearling to 18-months heifers, £3 10s to £6 15s; weaner heifers, £2 5s to £3 15s; weaner steers, £2 10s to £3 10s: yearling to 18-months steers, £5 to £6 15s; 2 to 25-year steers, £7 to £7 15s; 3 to 35-year steers, £8 to £9 3.05; 4 to 4 J-year steers, £9 12s 6d to £lO ss: grown steers, in forward condition. £lO 7s 6d to £ll ss.
