CANTERBURY CROPS SAVED
(Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Farmers in Canterbury were pessimistic last week, as rain was falling practically every day. Drying winds, however, set in last Thursdaj*. and have continued since, changing the outlook completely. The growth of fungus has been checked, and in most cases should do little more damage than usual. Lost time is now being made up in harvesting.
