EVERYBODY’S
“ARMAGEDDON” THIS EVENING “War,” as a great General once said, “is hell, but a hell filled with heroism.” The brilliant campaign conducted by Lord Allenby in Palestine provides an example of the tense drama of war. conducted over battlefields of the past of which the very names carry associations that are sacred alike to Christian, to Moslem, and to Jew That great campaign is graphically depicted in the picture named “Armageddon.” which will be shewn at the Everybody’s Theatre :his evening. “Armageddon” is not only a reconstruction of the Palestine campaign, but it contains many scenes actually filmed on the spot during the fighting. Models are used largelv to make clear tactical methods. Pictures of the Victoria Cross incidents and the crossing of the Jordan were specially re-enacted with the assistance, where it could be obtained, of actual participants in the incidents. The whole picture is really interesting and will hold the attention of all from first to last.
