HAMILTON REGATTA

(From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Arrangements for the regatta at Hamilton on Anniversary Day are well in hand, and an enthusiastic meeting of the local committee was held last night. One of the features of this year's acquatic carnival will be the eight-oar racing. The proposal to broadcast the progress of the races is an Innovation for Hamilton, and will be welcomed by radio fans far and wide. The regatta promises to be a great success. The. canoe races should prove exetiing. and many children’s events are scheduled.
