The doctors admit that recently he had several alarming and dangerous attacks. He has been ill some weeks, but the seriousness of his illness took Paris by surprise. Marshal Foch is prostrate and very weak. The doctors are hopeful that a slight improvement to-night means that he has passed the crisis.
