CANADIAN BRITISHER SAILING. This afternoon the Canadian National Steamship Line is dispatching the steamer Canadian Britisher from Auckland for Nexv York, Boston and Halifax. AORANGI SAILS 5 P.M.—ln continuation of her voyage from Sydney, the Union Company's R.M.M.S. Aorangi now leaves Auckland at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver. TAIN U I AT PANAMA. —The sßaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui is reported to have reached Panama last Saturday, en route from New Zealand to Southampton and London. She was dispatched from Lyttelton on December 22. TAHITI FOR SYDNEY.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Tahiti, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from San Francisco, via ports, leaves at 3 o'clock this afternoon for Sydney. THE MIDDLESEX. —The Federal Line steamer Middlesex is reported to have left Glasgow last Saturday. The vessel is scheduled to clear Liverpool next Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on February 26. THE MARGARET W.—The fourmasted auxiliary schoner, Margaret W., reached Thames from Gisborne on Saturday and is to sail for Auckland to-day. The vessel is coming to Auckland to refit, which will include the enlarging of the hatchways and the installation of a new MELBOURNE PASSENGER SERVICE. —The local office of tfie Union Company has been advised that the passenger steamer Manuka, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Melbourne, via Milford Sounds, sails again this afternoon for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and Melbourne. MAUI POMARE’S MOVEMENTS. Spedding, Limited, advises that the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare is due at Lyttelton on January 28 from Niue Island and Apia, Samoa, at Wellington on January 29, and at Auckland on February 1. She is to leave here on February 2 for Norfolk Island. R EMU ERA SAILING.—The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company hopes to dispatch the liner Remuera from Auckland this afternoon for Napier, Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up for Home. She-is to clear Wellington finally on February 2 for Southampton and London, via Panama. Kl LORE DON E REPORTS. —Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., have received wireless advice from the Kilcredone stating she will arrive from Casablanca, Morocco, at midnight to-night. The vessel has a full cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton. She will berth at the King’s Wharf to-mor-row. SURREY FOR FINAL LOADING. —The Federal Line steamer Surrey left Wellington for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland on Sunday morning to complete loading New Zealand produce for New York, Halifax and London. The vessel is scheduled to reach Auckland next Monday and to sail for New York three days later. HOKIANGA LAUNCHED.—The new auxiliary schooner Hokianga was launched at Freeman’s Bay this morning, and is to have her masts shipped at Prince's Wharf. The schooner has been built by Mr. George Niccol for A. G. Frankham, Ltd., and will be utilised in the Onehunga-Hokianga trade in place of the ill-fated auxiliary schooner Isabella de Fraine, which was lost with all hands on the Hokianga Bar last June. The carrying capacity of the schooner Flokianga will be about 260 tons. Her dimensions are:—Length, 97ft: beam, 25ft: draught, Sft. She is fitted with two 100' h.p. Fairbanks-Morse full Diesel engines. It is expected that she will be commissioned early next week. MAR AM A IN PORT.—Early this morning the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Marama arrived in the stream at Auckland from Svdney, and, after pratique was granted, berthed at the Queen's Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The vessel cleared the New South Wales port last Friday afternoon, and experienced good weather for the run across the Tasman Sea. The following passengers arrived by the vessel:— First Class: Mesdames Benham, Bischof, Bruce, Conway.
