ELSIE WALKER INQUEST There was a large crowd in the body of the Court this afternoon when the Elsie Walker inquiry was resumed at 2.30. Detective Waterson said t|iat at 11 p.m. on October 13 he received Instructions to go to the morgue. He saw a body, which was fully dressed. Witness rejmoved the clothing and examined the body for signs of injury. The face was badly knocked about, the left cheek and part of the jaw being completely missing. The left eye appeared to bo swollen, and there was blood in the hair, which was so badly matted that Jt was impossible to see if there was a wound. '(Proceeding.)
