WOMAN KNOCKED DOWN
QUEEN STREET ACCIDENT MISUNDERSTOOD DRIVER When she was knocked down by a light motor-truck at the intersection of Queen Street and Victoria Street about 11 o’clock this morning a mid-dle-aged woman, Mrs. W'arrick, who lives at the Y.W.C.A. Hostel in Upper Queen Street, received injuries to her leg and knee. Mrs. W'arrick and another woman were crossing Victoria Street when the accident occurred. The driver of the truck pulled up to let them pass but they also stopped. As the truck started again Mrs. Warrick tried to cross in front of it and was knocked down. Siie was taken to hospital, , where the leg will be X-rayed.
