SHARP RISE IN RUBBER
British Official Wireless RUGBY, Saturday. The feature of the London nkarkets to-day was a sharp rise in the price of rubber. -It rose from 9 l-16d a lb to lOd before reacting to 95d. Arrivals of rubber since the abolition of the restrictions have been much lower than was anticipated and at the same time the trades’ demands are increasing. Rubber shares also improved substantially.
