THIRD WELLINGTON SALE ALL COUNTRIES BUYING Press Association WELLINGTON, Sunday. With an aggregate catalogue of 27,000 bales offering, the third Wellington wool sale opened yesterday. It was evident from the outset that the tone of the market was sound, and nearly all the bales offered were sold. Bradford competition was again a strong feature of the sale. France competed very keenly for any wool showing quality. The United States was a good buyer of super wools. Russia sought fine crossbred, and purchases in this market were relatively heavy. Germany gave excellent prices for niferior and low-grade crossbred wools. Following is the range of prices: Following is the range of prices:— December January Prices. Prices, d. d. d. d.
