Belgian Conductor Falls Dead as Funeral

(United Service) liecd. noon. BRUSSELS, Sunday. THE conductor of the Brussels Orchestra, Van Hoe, requested the orchestra to play a funeral inarch. The last notes of the music had hardly faded when the astonished audience and orchestra saw the conductor fall dead at the dais. It is thought that, feeling his last moment was-near, he had ordered his own funeral march.
