Violet Loraine (Mrs. Edward Joicey) received a wonderful reception when she returned to the London stage recently after an absence of some yars. Miss Loraine was in New Zealand before the war as Principal Boy in “Puss in Boots.” During the war many soldiers from the Dominion saw her in “The Bing Boys” and “The Bing Boys on Broadway” at the London Alhambra. She was one of the most popular actresses in London but retired after her marriage to Mr. Joicey.
