i Dancing will bo enjoyed again this i evening at the popular Dixieland I Cabaret, which is notable for its coolness owing to the breezes from tlie Waitemata. Selections from the latest dance music will be supplied by the i Dixieland Dance Band under Mr. H'. I REAL ANTIQUES FOR SCENES ■ . A real Grindley Gibbons fireplace, two exquisitely carved oaken doors. | and a couple of knife-boxes, all from I Devonshire House, Piccadilly, are some of the real antiques which will figure in a big interior scene in the film version of Warwick Deeping’s novel, “Kitty/ ’which is now being proj duced by Victor Saville for British International Pictures. The knife “boxes” are particularly curious, for outwardly they resemble huge Grecian urns of carved mahogany, but when the tops are unscrewed, a compartment filled with holes is discovered, and in these the knives are deposited. The title role of “Kitty" has been played by Estelle Brody, while the leading male role by a well-known actor, John Stewart. Cinema Art Films will release this attraction during the present year.
