UNEMPLOYMENT INCREASE
OVER 100 MORE MEN Unemployment has increased greatly during the past week, according to statistics supplied by the Government Labour Department this morning, the number of men registered as out cf work being 747 compared with 500 i.» a week. Of this week’s total 653 men are classed as fit for heavy work and a! for light work, compared with 530 an l 69 respectively last week.
