ONE FOR HAGEN
IT/ALTER HAGEN, the world- ’’ famous golfer, has offered to give a display of golf on the Suva Golf Links when he is passing through this month, but he has stipulated that he be guaranteed a return of £SO. The Golf Club has considered the matter, and a reply has been sent which fully indicates its attitude. The reply is to the effect that it will take an even £lO that the Fiji champion. Mr. Hollins Crompton, will defeat him over 18 holes on the Suva links. So far no reply has been received.
