ATHLETICS AND CRICKET Besides getting his blue in athletics, Kalaugher last summer played for his university in county cricket in the matches against Leicestershire, Oxford, and Surrey. He is a member of the Centipedes and Achilles Athletic Clubs, but, because of Oxford’s age restriction in inter- varsity athletics, he will not be eligible to play for Oxford University against Cambridge University when they meet in the next English summer. He hopes, however, to be included in the combined OxfordCambridge team, which is to visit the United States during the coming summer to compete against Yale, Harvard, Cornell, and Princeton Universities. Kalaugher is also stated to be doing very well at his studies.
