FINALS PLAYED Press Association PALMERSTON N., Thursday. The ManavC-atu tennis tourney was continued to-day, when the following championship finals were decided:— Alen’s singles: C. Alalfroy (Wellington) beat Rhodes Williams (Wellington), 6—4, 6—2. Women’s singles: Aliss D. Nicholls (Wellington) beat Airs. Adams (Wellington), 3—6, 7—5, 6—3. Alen’s doubles: Griffiths (Auckland) and Rhodes Williams (Wellington) beat Charters (Whangarei) and A. C. Stedman (Auckland), 11—9, 6—3. Women’s doubles: Airs. Adams (Wellington) and Aliss Myers (Wanganui) beat Mrs. Napier (Auckland) and Aliss Ramsay (Auckland), 6—2, 6 —2.
