ST. JAMES THEATRE

MERRY COMEDY COMPANY George Wallace and his company, in a programme of amusing varieties, continue to get an excellent hearing at St. James Theatre. Last evening the company was m particularly good form, and George Wallace himself had even his supporters on the stage laughing. This young Australian comedian with a continual run of nonsense had two periods of monologue, during which the audience was continually laughing. The programme is entitled * All Sorts,” and is a mixture of songs, duets, dances, comedy sketches, and orchestral items, all carried through with a running fire of comments by the leading member of the show. There are several good vocal artists, Marshall Crosby in “Lighterman Tom” being one first-rate item. Miss Mavis Nyman aiso sings several songs nicely.
