“THE BARKER” George Fitzmaurice, one of the most i versatile directors in Hollywood, has j contributed another colourful and j dramatic picture to the silver screen. This time. Fitzmaurice has gone to the street carnival for his colour. The picture is “The Barker,” adapted from the famous stage success of that name. It comes to the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres this evening, with Milton Sills in the title role, and Dorothy Mackaill co-starred as Lou, the diving girl in the carnival. The Ken Maynard picture. “The Glorious Trail.” will also be shown. A special dancing company of some of the world’s most beautiful women was gathered together by Marion Morgan for the prologue of “Manhattan Cocktails,” which depicts a story of ancient Crete.
