CONFERENCE TO BE HELD PROPOSAL DISCUSSED A meeting was held at the office of the Auckland Harbour .Board yesterday when Mr. H. It. Mackenzie, chairman of thie board, and the superintendent and engineer met a committee from the Auckland Harbour Bridge Association to discuss the site and other questions in connection with the proposed harbour bridge. Various aspects of the proposal were discussed and the meeting was then adjourned until a meeting of interested bodies could be held. It is understood that the Mayor ancl city engineer are receiving this committee on Friday next.
