LORD ATHLUMNEY DEAD

(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) LONDON, Tuesday. The death has occurred of Lord Athlumney, aged 64. Lord Athlumney was born in .1865 and succeeded his father in 1873. He was at Harrow, and was in the Coldstream Guards. He served in the Egyptian campaign as aide-de-camp to the late Earl Kitchener, in the Dongola Expedition, and in South Africa. In the recent war he was Provost-Marshal of London. He married Miss Margery Boan, whose father was an Australian. There is no heir to the peerage.
