SHOT DEAD WITH A GUN

INTRUDER IN A SHOP HE IGNORED CHALLENGE MELBOURNE. Thursday. A resident of Leitchville. near Bendigo, this morning noticed an unknown man in a shop. He secured assistance, and went back and called to the man, who was leaving the shop, wearing no boots. The man ignored the challenge, and was shot dead by the resident’s companion with a shotgun. A swag was found near the spot.
