During the current financial year £50,000 is to be spent on the North Auckland maim highway through Northcote, Silverdale, Waiwera, Warkworth. Way by, Wellsford and Kaiwaka to Maungaturoto. If the -weather favours progress, a good metalled road will be completed from Auckland to Waiwera before winter. Members of the Main Highways Board will inspect this road during their tour of important works in tho Auckland Province, to begin on February 4.
