SCHOONER MISSING

FULL CARGO OF EXPLOSIVES Press Association GREYMOUTH, Today. The Nobel Explosive Company’s schooner Huia left Dunedin 10 days ago direct for Greymouth with a full load of explosives, but has not yet arrived, or been reported. The opinion is being expressed here that a mishap has occurred. The Huia, an auxiliary schooner of 251 tons gross, is fitted with a 160 h.p. oil engine. She was built at Aratapu, New Zealand, in IS9-1 She is well known In Auckland. Mr. C. Campbell, manager-agent for the vessel in Auckland, states there is no anxiety felt here for her safety. There has been heavy westerly weather on the coast, and as the Huia is a light ship she is probably sheltering.
