TAHITI, R.M.S., sailed from San Francisco December 26 for Sydney, via Papeete, Rarotonga, and Wellington; duo Wellington January 14; due Sydney January 19. COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar is to leave Auckland at 10 o’clock this evening on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Kurow, from Dunedin and Timaru, arrived at Lyttelton at 6 a.m. to-day and sails at 5 p.m. for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here on Sunday, and, after discharge, loads at this port for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Kaituna leaves Auckland at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Portland, where she loads cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. Tlie Waipiata is to leave Dunedin on Saturday, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and probably Picton, for Auckland. The Kaimanawa sails from Auckland on Friday for Wellington, thence Westport, where she will load for this port. The Westport Coal Company’s collier Canopus Is to load at Westport about January 21 for Auckland. The oil-tanker Paua is expected to leave Auckland about Saturday for Wellington. The Wairaea left Auckland last evening for Gisborne and Napier, and is due back here on Sunday. The Rangitoto left here shortly after noon to-day for Thames, and is due back at 10 o’clock to-night. The Pono sails from Auckland at 3 p.m. to-day for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. .The Apanui is sailing from Auckland at 30 o’clock to-night for Mercury Bay and Tairua. The Hauiti, which left here this morning for Kopu and Turua, returns to Auckland to-morrow at 3 p.m. The Kawau sailed this morning for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, Little and Big Omaha. She is due back here to-morrow at 3 p.m. Tlie Omana, which left this morning for Manly and Arkle’s Bay, returns to Auckland at six o’clock to-niglit. The Waipu arrived her this morning from Kerepeehi, and sails to-morrow at midnight on her return trip. The Ngapuhi sails from here at 6.30 p.m. to-morrow on her return trip to Tauranga. The Clansman, due her at 6 a.m. tomorrow, sails at 5 p.m. on Friday on her return trip to Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui.
The Taniwha arrives at Auckland at 2.30 a.m. to-morrow from Paeroa, and leaves at 11 p.m. the same day on her return trip.
The Claymore, due her to-morrow at 3.30 a.m. from Whangarei, sails on her return trip at 7.30 p.m. the same day.
