nr W. N. Abbott, of Auckland, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Messrs. J- S- and F- Hayman were uiong the arrivals from Wellington this morning on the Limited. The Hon. W. H. Triggs, M.L.C., left tor the South last evening on the Limited. Mr. H. It. Jenkins. M.P. for Parnell, visiting the Milford Sound and Southern Lakes district on holiday. The Rev. W. Averill, of All Saints, Ponsonbv, is visiting Christchurch, and 13 staying with his brother, Or. 1,. .\verill. Mr. C. Todd, of the Todd Motor Co., ltd. returned to Dunedin last evening. He has been staying at the Grand Hotel.

Mr. P. K. Angus, assistant chief mechanical engineer of railways, and Mr. S. E. Fay, operating and equipment assistant, are visiting Auckland on departmental business.
