LEAGUE TO BROADCAST

REPORT OF ITS SITTINGS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) AMSTERDAM, Sunday. The newspapers say the League of Nations has decided to lay down a direct cable from Geneva to the Dutch short-wave wireless station at Kootwijk, lor the purpose of broadcasting the sittings of the League. A start will possibly be made at the middle of February, with a wave-length of 18.4 metres instead of 38.8 metres, which is regarded in many quarters as being more satisfactory.
