364L8. SHARK CAUGHT SIR HARRY LAUDER ARRIVES (From Oxer Own Correspondent) RUSSELL, To-day. Yesterday, on his first day out, Mr. A. Mathewson, of Dundee, Scotland, landed a mako shark of 3641 b. He was accompanied by his wife. Mr. Alien, who belongs to Sir Harry Lauder’s fishing party, in his first experience of deep-sea angling, caught a mako shark, which took over 35 minutes to land after a hard fight. The fish took the line out over 200 yards at a time. Naturally the party was delighted with the thrilling sport. The launch Otehei lias been engaged by Sir Harry Lauder’s party, which will make its headquarters "at Urupukapuka camp. Sir Harry Lauder and Miss Greta Lauder are to arrive to-day by the Opua express.
