He was told of his wife's disappearance, and left no stone unturned to find her. After a 1 ortnight came a message from Horrogate. Colonel Christie rushed north, and found that the mysterious South African was his wife. Doctors were able to certify that Mrs! Christie was suffering from loss of memory. On April 20 of last year Mrs. Christie, who was married in 1914, was granted a decree nisi against her husband on the grounds of his misconduct, the other party in the case being described as a woman unknown.
