SANDERS CUP DISPUTE WELLINGTON’S REPRESENTATIVES Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. The trouble which has been brewing »ince the Wellington Provincial Yacht find Motor-boat Association decided to over-ride the decision of the sole selector, Mr. P. W. France, in the Sanders Cup trials to eliminate two boats, reached its climax at this evening’s meeting of the association, when Mr. France tendered his resignation. It ■was decided to accept it with regret. Mr. W. Duncan was approached by the chairman, Mr. J. Moffat, at the lequest of the Management Committee, and consented to act as sole selector, provided he was given a free hand. This was agreed to. It was decided, on the recommendation of the selector, Mr. A. G. Harvey, that N. McKenzie and H. btutter should represent Wellington in the Cornwell Cup contest at Lyttelton.
