cidmg try of the match, Lou Brown, the Auckland Leaguer, played a big part in Wigan’s hard fought victory over Widnes in the L a n - cashire Cup League final at Warrington late in
November. A 20,000 crowd cheered the New Zealander to the echo for his fine effort, which together with a goal by Sullivan, gave Wigan the victory by 5 points to nil.
