NEW AIRWAY PILOTS
ANGLO-INDIAN SERVICE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) ( United Service) Reed. 12.18 p.m. LONDON, Wed. The Imperial Airways are preparing for the opening of the Anglo-Indian air mail in April, and have engaged a number of new pilots from the Air Force. The men are undergoing training in flying big Handley-Page, Rolls-Royce, and Armstrong-Siddeley air liners, making a specified number of crossChannel flights seated beside the pilot.
